There is not one of us who is able to express our true nature of wholeness twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. I know I can't - trust me I've tried. Even those of us who have consciously been on a spiritual path for many years, wouldn't be crazy about someone following us home on "one of those days" or in "one of those moments" when we have fallen asleep once again to our divinity.

How do we handle it when we think and act in ways that are so incongruent with love, order, peace, balance and joy? How are we "being" with ourselves when we are secretly being resentful, petty, jealous and fearful, yet showing the world our happy spiritual face? God, you should see me in the grocery store when I'm having one of my menopause moments (sanity on pause), and someone is standing in front of me on the express lane with more than twelve items, breathing fire through my nostrils with that happy "I'm spiritual face" pasted on.

Here's what I've come to realize, it's cool - it's okay to have those moments. It's alright to acknowledge that we all have those times when we are out of balance with order, peace and love. It's not who we are in totality, it's a core belief or wound that has decided to have it's say on that particular day.

It's in releasing the shame about the darkness that we get to celebrate and embrace it all. In releasing the shame, we stop beating ourselves up for the process of our growth. From this place of surrendering to the unconditional love of Spirit, we create the space for truth and wholeness to be revealed.

Go a little easier on yourself today. You're okay!

What you have said in the dark will be heard in the light. Luke 12: 3

I love you
